Bottega Taboo Enriches Valley Village Neighborhood By Inspiring Children To Dream Big

Valley Village community pillar, Village Arts Theater, completed a successful run of Frozen featuring local high school performers. Bottega Taboo sponsored the opening event with champagne and caviar for the audience and attendees, bringing the party to the people. To further nourish a symbiotic relationship, Bottega Taboo will donate 10% of any order back to Village Arts with a simple mention of the non-profit.

Bottega Taboo’s owner, Lika O, knows firsthand how important the arts are to children. As a singer, actress, model, and philanthropist, Lika’s newest single “Grow” is currently up for Grammy consideration. Her robust social media following helped catapult her to fame. Additionally, she founded the Miss Russian United States talent and beauty pageant, received a commendation for philanthropy work from Former LA Mayor Eric Garcetti, and has been the recipient of local and international achievements.

At the Village Arts Theater opening night, Lika spoke to the students about her career in entertainment and passion for music. She invited the audience to Bottega Taboo to immerse themselves in the positive vibes and experience her “American Dream” firsthand. Lika features local artists weekly for live music at Bottega Taboo and loves supporting artists of all kinds. “Children are our Future,” she says, honored to be able to support the local community.

Village Arts owners, John and Pam Moser, became regulars at Bottega Taboo and bonded with staff members. They said, “We’re not just supporting Bottega Taboo because they are supporting us. We have been at least six times. It’s fun, it’s groovy, it’s relaxing. The drinks are great. The food is excellent. It’s just a great place to be.” Bottega Taboo found a natural fit in working with the non-profit and supporting local children’s participation in the arts.

2024 has many upcoming events for both Village Arts Theater and Bottega Taboo. Village Arts’ upcoming calendar includes disco dance parties, a talent show, sketch comedy, improv, and a homework club. Bottega Taboo will be featured on Vanderpump Rules new upcoming season. They also hosted a Grammy-member-only event and had a glowing highlight on NBC California Live.

Bottega Taboo restaurant is “A Vibe House” and a sanctuary for Mediterranean and Japanese fusion cuisine. They host live music every weekend, champagne and caviar specials, and a generous happy hour from 5-7pm Thursdays-Sundays. Valley Arts Theater is a non-profit organization dedicated to the youth whose passion is theater, dance, and visual arts. Both are located in the Valley Village neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley.
